library and documentation centre, form the core of the Centre and together

ACTIVITIES
Publication of 'Green Energy', WISE's
bi-monthly publication
- Green Energy is the only holistic publication
on sustainable energy in India.
- The Magazine highlights major news,
views, in-depth analysis, events,
policies, and informative cutting-edge articles on
different aspects of sustainable energy. Overall, it
provides examples of human ingenuity for attracting sustainability.
- The magazine reaches out to an audience
of around 50,000 individuals and organisations from the energy
sector in India and abroad. country.
Information Technology
- Information Technology is used for propagating
sustainable energy technologies, products, information,
and modes of environment-friendly living.
- WISE's website www.wisein.org
is the institute's live portal providing a warehouse of
information on the institute's activities as well as other
important issues in the renewable energy sector.
Library and Documentation Centre
- WISE has a modern, well-equipped library
and documentation centre. It comprises unique books, periodicals,
and audio-visual aids on subjects related to sustainable
development, environment, conventional and non-conventional
energy, rural energy, management and economics of renewable
energy, environmental economics, and even ecological philosophy.
FUTURE DIRECTIONS
- To publish more comprehensive, analytical
and research-oriented publications on sustainable energy
and development.
- To develop electronic aids such as films,
documentaries, multimedia presentations, etc., propagating
the significance of sustainable energy in building a sustainable
future.
- To provide online services (referral,
archival, information and product-based) on various aspects
of sustainable energy, energy conservation, and sustainable
development.
