WISE devised and conducted a unique two-day training programme on ‘Solar Technology for Industrial Process Heating’ to impart training on solar process heating technology applications and its design, and also analyse the financial viability and available government incentives. The programme was held in July 2011 in the WISE training hall, and speakers included WISE’s in-house faculty and experts from reputed companies. The programme witnessed the presence of 25–30 enthusiastic participants representing various sectors such as the chemical process industry, agricultural processing and dairy industries, water heating and power industry, etc. The programme culminated in useful interactions between technology seekers and solution providers. The participants were highly appreciative of the content of the programme and felt that it helped them in understanding the latest developments in the industry.
