Solar Plant at Mirajgaon

The Mirajgaon gram panchayat in Maharashtra has received grant support from the central government under National Rurban Mission Scheme for setting up of 1 MW solar power plant. In this regard, the Centre for Solar Energy, WISE, aided in the preparation of the DPR. The generated power is expected to be sold to DISCOM by participating in the competitive bidding process. WISE will provide handholding support to Mirajgaon gram panchayat in the selection of an EPC contractor and commissioning of the solar plant.

WISE supported the gram panchayat to participate in MSEDCL bid for sale of generated solar power. The gram panchayat won the bid and got the tariff of 3.10 per unit for 25 years and signed PPA with MSEDCL.
